Keep in mind that coaching is more about the client than the coach
It is more effective to choose leaders who are hungry to be coached, otherwise every step becomes an impediment
During your discovery session, observe whether the client is inwardly or outwardly focused
Probe deeper to understand what lies at the core of their issues
Use a Johari Window to bring to surface things that are hidden but important to the coaching process
Once the client is onboard, do everything you can to make sure they are fully satisfied
